2. Review Program Songs:
• Stand for the Right (159) - Fold your arms if you watched General Conference last weekend. Nod your head if you heard President Monson, our prophet, speak. Raise your hand if you want to share what he taught us. His message is always the same, to "be true" and "stand for the right"; I'm going to sing it to you, if you know the words, sing with me. 
• I Will Follow God's Plan (164) - Heavenly Father wants each of us to return home to Him. To do that we must follow His plan. In this song, there are rhyming words (have spaces on blackboard). Listen for the rhyming words and we'll talk about them after we sing (3 close sets, a 4th set with words further apart)
• The Books of Mormon (119) - Where can read about God's plan? This song teaches us the names of many of the prophets that wrote in the Book of Mormon. As we sing, stand every time you sing a word or name that starts with "M".
• If I Listen with My Heart (Outline) - In the Book of Mormon we learn the teachings of Jesus. As we read the scriptures, the Holy Ghost can speak to our hearts and tell us that the scriptures are true. I know a song that teaches us about listening with our hearts. Fold your arms if you know this song. Hum along as Brother Surlin plays the introduction, then join me in singing the first verse. Watch my hands, if I move them up, I want you to sing louder, if I move them down, I want you to sing quieter.

1. 3 minutes: Attention getter: Ya'll did a fantastic job today! You sang beautifully, and I know all the fathers loved your song. I brought something with me today to help us celebrate Father's Day. A laundry basket! Now this isn't just ANY laundry basket. It is full of clothes you might see your dads wear! Shirts, ties, shoes, pants, and more! I am going to look for reverent singers to come choose an item out of my basket. There is a number somewhere on it - it is the number to a song we are going to sing. You may then choose to wear the item, or choose someone else who wants to wear the item to wear it for the rest of singing time. Now, even when you are wearing dad clothes, you must still be reverent singers; if you are distracted by the clothes, you will have to take them off.
2. 15 minutes: Sing the corresponding songs as the children choose articles of clothing from the basket. Use flipcharts and posters as necessary.

   Junior Primary
• Wiggle Song (Junior Primary): Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam. Use poster to teach and review song. Invite kids to bounce off their chairs on sunBEAM, use any other hand motions or beat exercises (tap rhythm on knees, omit sunbeam, etc.)
• Sing "Stand for the Right" with the flipchart to assess how much the kids know. Echo sing each phrase. Hand out "Be True" signs to 2 children - have them lift them high when we sing "Be true". Switch with other children. After everyone has had a turn...
• Play "Sing Me Where It Is" (Hot and Cold/Hide and Seek) using Stand for the Right. (2 times only, tell kids ahead of time)
• Tell kids that Easter is coming up, the Sunday after General Conference. Introduce: Jesus Has Risen (p70) with flip charts. Sing to them, echo sing if time.

• Wiggle Songs.
• Review: As a Child of God, Choose the Right and Stand for the Right. Use signs to tell them how to sing, invite one at a time to show signs in front of room.
• Practice Easter Songs "Did Jesus Really Live Again" (p64) and "Jesus Has Risen" (p70) by doing the following) first one and then the other:
• The Switcheroo: Have everyone close their eyes while you switch two of the signs on the board. Sing the song again to figure out which two are switched. Once you've done this two times you're ready for....
• The Mix-Up: Hand out the signs to come helpers, then sing the song while the helpers try to put themselves in order. The goal is to get in the right spot before the singing stops. Ask the seated children (and if there are none, the teachers) if the order is right. If it is, mix it up again. If not, sing the song again and offer a little help. When you feel like they know the song well (but before they are sick of it) it's time for....
• The Disappearing Act: Tell the children that they know the song so well that they are going to do a "Disappearing Act" and make all of the visual aids disappear. Have a teacher or child pick a visual aid to 'disappear' and the children holding them take their seats. Sing the song again to see if they remember all of the words or if a visual aid needs to 're-appear.' Pick another teacher/child (or two or three at a time) to make another visual aid disappear, singing the song after each batch until all of the visual aids have disappeared. 

          Nursery

• Sing "The More We Get  Together" to invite the children into a circle.
• Sing "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam". (invite 2 kids to hold up the sunbeam sticks)
• Sing "My Heavenly Father Loves Me". (use flipchart)
• Sing "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes".
• Sing "I Am a Child of God".

Help them apply it in their lives: Invite them to prepare for General Conference and to decide to always follow the prophet and stand for the right, bear testimony.

• Wiggle Song (Junior Primary): Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam. Introduce it by asking Sister Ames to start playing it on the piano. When the kids recognize the song, they are to touch their nose. Sing the song with the kids to assess how much they know. Use poster to teach and review song. Invite kids to bounce off their chairs on sunBEAM, use any other hand motions or beat exercises.
• Sing "Stand for the Right" with the flipchart to assess how much the kids know. Remind them they learned this song last week. Then...(from http://singingasongisfun2do.blogspot.com/ )

Wiggle Songs: Here We Are Together (p261) "in our primary" and using the kids names, have the kids walk in a circle until you start singing the names - then stop and point to 3 kids (in order) and sing their names. Repeat saying the names of 3 new people, continue until you've used everyone's name. Feel free to invite leaders!

Help the children understand it:

1. Sing Wiggle Songs.
2. Attention Getter: 
• Play "Guess Who?". Give hints about (President Monson) to the kids, and tell them to raise their hand (don't shout out!) when they think they know who it is. After reading through all of the hints, call on someone to answer. Put the picture of President Monson up on the board (from Choose the Right pictures). Today we are going to sing a song about what our prophet teaches us. And guess what? It's a song you already know! (well, the sunbeams won't)
3. Listening and Singing Experiences:
   
   Junior/Senior Primary
• Ask Sister Ames to play through the song once. Tell the kids not to sing, but to listen and watch you. Show the flipchart as Emily plays. At the end, ask the kids to raise their hand if they remember the name of the song.
• Sing "Stand for the Right" with the flipchart.
• Now sing phrase by phrase/back and forth to be sure they know the words - and to introduce the words to the Sunbeams and new kids. 
• Sing it through again. Tell the kids you will be looking for reverent children that are singing to help you in the next activity.
• Now, remember I told you that I love March because it's the beginning of Spring? Today I have some flowers around the room (tape them up before Primary) that will tell us how to sing "Stand for the Right." Ask one of the reverent children to choose a flower. Repeat 4-5 times.
• Review Choose the Right by mixing up the pictures on the board. Ask the kids to help you put them in order. Sing through verse 1. Repeat with Verse 1 for the Jr. Primary. Repeat with Verse 3 for the Sr. Primary.

          Nursery (if you choose to go)

• Sing "The More We Get  Together" to invite the children into a circle.
